Truly I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.Matthew 25:40

KATERI’S KITCHEN

picture1Kateri’s Kitchen is open every Saturday from 10-12 to serve area families in need of assistance. Parishioners help to “stock our shelves” by donating food items. Children of the parish bring donations to the altar at the offertory of every Mass.  Other donations may be placed in the classroom at the back entrance of the church.

For more information, please contact Ann Marie Lucas at (508) 752-4852

GIVING TREE

During Advent, parishioners may take a tag from the Giving Tree. These tags are requests for specific gifts for needy children and adults at the Pernet Family Health Service. Parishioners purchase these gifts and place them under the tree prior to Christmas.

For more information, please contact Betty Paulsen at (508) 832-2851

CHRISTMAS GIFTS

Parishioners purchase gifts for patients at Worcester State Hospital. This activity originated with the parish women’s club.

For more information, contact Elaine Doherty at (508) 752-7251

SOUPER BOWL OF CARING

souper-bowl-logoThe youth of our parish “exercise their faith” by holding soup pots at church doors on Souper Bowl Sunday, the day of the Super Bowl. They join young people in churches across the country to collect money for those who are hungry and hurting. All of the money collected is donated to a charity selected by the participants. None of the money is sent to Souper Bowl headquarters.

For more information, contact the Religious Education Office at (508) 798-0612

EASTER FOOD BASKETS

The youth of our parish “exercise their faith” by shopping for groceries, preparing boxes of food for delivery, and bringing the food boxes to needy families. These are distributed through Kateri’s Kitchen.

For more information, contact the Religious Education Office at (508) 798-0612

St. VINCENT de PAUL

Our St. Vincent de Paul organization accepts donations which are then part of the help the parish provides for people in need who request it. There is a bin at the back of the church for used clothing donations.

For more information, contact Father Gee at (508) 798-8779

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS

Although parishioners are not, as such, the organizers of this activity, AA holds weekly meetings every Wednesday night in our parish hall. All are welcome.
