AED (Defibrillator) Training
As you may have noticed, two AEDs, automated external defibrillators, have been installed in the church and in the parish hall An AED is a portable device that checks the heart rhythm and can send an electric shock to the heart to restore a normal rhythm. AEDs are used to treat sudden cardiac arrest.
Trainings have been arranged for any parishioner who would like to learn how to use the device. A Fire Department representative will conduct the 30 minute training. The two dates/times are:
Tuesday, May 15, at 5:30 p.m. or
Tuesday, May 22, at 7:00 p.m.
We strongly encourage all parish staff and ministry volunteers to attend one of the trainings.
